Keeping up with all of the changes to the U.S. healthcare system is a challenge for everyone involved. Healthcare reform is reshaping the U.S. hospital landscape. It also has the potential to dramatically change how suppliers to hospitals market, price, contract for, and sell their products. The movement to value-based purchasing/reimbursement from fee for service based reimbursement will undoubtably shine a bright light on the value proposition (or lack of a value proposition) of Med Tech suppliers’ solutions. Smart suppliers will deeply immerse themselves in the changes happening to the hospital customers, and prepare to compete in the market.
